It was August 2nd 1949

The Ceremony for the FUNERAL was described in detail in the book by Pondaag, and I refer to it for the sake of completeness.

The “Kebaktian Kedukaan” was held  by Ds. Kawengian, after which the sarge was carried downstairs while a female choir sings a psalm.
